Boo Your Neighbors!

Every October, one of our favorite traditions is to “Boo the Neighbors!”
To join in the fun, leave a treat at your neighbor’s door, ring the bell…and RUN!  They display the friendly ghost you’ve left at their door, and the rest of the neighbors know to Boo! another house!

The treat bag can be a simple lunch sack or Halloween treat bag filled with things such as candy, glow sticks, stickers, pencils, or small Halloween trinkets.  No need to spend alot of money.  The fun really lies in the secret giving and receiving!
KeepingLifeCreative has free printables of everything you will need…a poem, instructions, plus a “We’ve been Boo’d” sign for the doors.
By Halloween, the neighborhood is full of friendly ghosts!

This is an easy, fun tradition to start in your neighborhood, so pick up a few items on your next grocery run, get the printables from the link above, and have fun!

  1. This is a fun tradition. Our neighborhood has done this the past few years but I haven’t seen anyone start it this year. Guess I might have to be the first this time :)
    Have a great weekend,
