Are these not the cutest? Let me start with a disclaimer…I had nothing to do with these adorable little guys, but they were too fabulous not to share! These pumpkins are at home just up the street, and since Candace doesn’t have a blog, she gave me permission to share with you here!
Another easy, very inexpensive fall or Halloween treat for your front porch, your deck, or even your table’s centerpiece!
What you need:
Pumpkins (real or artificial)
Acrylic Paint in your choice of colors
Pencil
Ribbon or Raffia
Candace simply sketched out the first letters of each of her children’s names on the pumpkins. If this makes you nervous, find a font you like at KevinandAmanda, enlarge it, print it out, and make a template.
Paint your letter in the desired color. Candace used black, allowed it to dry, then came back with white polkadots. **Tip: To create perfect polkadots, use the end of an unused pencil eraser!
Tie fun ribbon and/or raffia to the stems and you are finished! Easy-peasy!
While Candace made hers fun and whimsical, the possibilities are endless…you could use a script letter with pretty ribbon for a more elegant look, or mix it up and paint each one different!

Hope you are enjoying some beautiful fall weather!

How cute are these? For us old folks with no little ones at home, I think it would be fun to write Boo! Maybe next year. Like you said, the possibilities are endless. Thanks for sharing! Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog also.
