Fall Mantel 2012

Here is our completed Fall Mantel using the Coffee Filter Wreath!  I was going for simple this year, using items I already had.

Here’s what’s included:  The versatile Chalkboard Frame serves as a backdrop to many a mantel in our house!  Candlesticks I’ve had for close to ten years.  Peter’s Pottery vase filled with wheat stems from Michael’s.  Bittersweet stems (Wal-mart) cut into small pieces and placed randomly at base of mantel.

Pictured below is last year’s Fall Mantel.  And in true home-blogger-fashion, nearly everything I used last year I used somewhere else afterwards, thus the need to start over for this year!
Although I prefer the Coffee Filter Wreath in this year’s fall mantel, I think I’m partial to the overall look of last year’s arrangement!

What do you think?
