Updated Fall Wreaths

If you have been reading My Heart’s Desire for a while, you may remember these Fall Wreaths I made last October.  They are still in perfect condition to display again this year, and I decided to make them a bit more personal with our family monogram!
Craft stores have different fonts of chipboard and wooden letters, and I chose these from Hobby Lobby.  The paint color is “Orange” by Craftsmart (Michael’s).
I had originally purchased another chipboard B in a different font and painted it a shade of gold.  The B was too small and wobbly, the color was off, and it generally bugged me…
…enter Plan B.
  So much better, right?

These Fall Wreaths are a cinch to make, not to mention dirt cheap.  Click HERE to access the archived Step-by-Step Tutorial for making your own.

  13. I’m brand new to your blog this evening and finding it quite helpful in planning home decor. Thank you so much for showing us your not so perfect first “B”. And how you made it better. Often I try something and know it doesn’t look right but can’t put my finger on it so I just leave it and feel disappointed every time I look at it. It helps to see a flubup and how it was remedied. Thanks. I’ll stop back again for sure.
