With the Holidays upon us, food preparation is in full swing! Perhaps you are anticipating a house full of guests or have offered to take food to a gathering. Seasoned Oyster Crackers take mere minutes to prepare and are perfect pick up snacks as an appetizer, with cocktails, or as an addition to your favorite soup or chili! In addition, these crackers make terrific gifts!
My mom shared this recipe with me years ago, and it remains a favorite.
Seasoned Oyster Crackers
Preheat oven to 275°.
3/4 cup canola oil
1 packet dry Ranch salad dressing
1/2 t. dry dill
1/4 t. lemon pepper
1/4 t. garlic powder
1 pkg Oyster Crackers (near the Saltines in store)
In a large bowl, whisk together oil, Ranch packet, dill, lemon pepper, and garlic powder. Add oysters crackers to the bowl and gently stir to coat the crackers well. Place coated crackers in a single layer on a large cookie sheet.
Bake at 275° for about 15 minutes or until crackers begin to brown slightly.
Remove from oven and transfer to a paper towel-lined plate. Cool completely and store in an air-tight container or ziploc bag.

I had these several years ago and loved them, but never knew what all I needed to make them for myself. Thanks!

I LOVE these!! I make these every year and my family gobbles them up. Rarely do they last more than a couple of days around our house. 🙂 Until last year, I had never baked mine, just put all the ingredients in a paper bag (doubled) and shake it up really well and they were delicious. I baked them last year and they were delicious! I’ve never used lemon pepper seasoning either so I will have to try that this year!! I’ll be making some on Friday and can’t wait!! 🙂
