As we approach the week of Thanksgiving, I decided to join Arkansas Women’s Bloggers “ThanksBlogging Challenge!” Five days of posts, each related to Thanksgiving.
So on to Day 1, “Outside the Walls Photo Challenge.” (Take a photo of something you are thankful for, and use a photo editing service, such as PicMonkey, to bring it new life!)
I am thankful for my college friends! This photo was taken in August when we got together in Mississippi. A few of us go all the way back to elementary school…our friendships are rich with history and memories.
I am most thankful for these relationships because we can pick up where we left off even if years have passed.
Sadly, one of these girls just learned that her husband has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. They are due to deliver Baby #2 in just a few weeks. We are literally sick over this news. The outpouring of love and support is staggering…a true testament to the human spirit.
Please join us in praying for them as they face the battle of their lives.
With a thankful and hopeful heart,

I will pray for your friend’s husband. I cherish my friends too – I have a group of 5 going back to elementary school. There are no friends like the old friends:))

It was so good to see you at HL! We need to get together soon so you can give me a grand photo tutorial. I was so sorry to read about your friend. We have a very close friend with ALS. It’s hard to say goodbye.
