Easy Last-Minute Christmas Decorations

This last week before Christmas, you may be tying up loose ends and getting ready for guests to arrive, like we are!  Perhaps you have a couple of places in your home you wish were decorated, but you are out of time.

All three of these ideas take only minutes to put together, and you may even have everything you need, minus a candle or two, to make a last-minute decoration for a table, guest-room door, or your coffee table!

This first one is one of my favorites…fill any glass vase, apothecary jar, bowl, or basket with shatter-proof ornaments!  These ornaments have been in my Christmas boxes for years and I love the way they sparkle in the tall glass jar.  This apothecary jar is from Hobby Lobby.  They have many different shapes and sizes to choose from.

Or use a “fishbowl” container as a main centerpiece!

This next one is super-easy and inexpensive, as well.  Find these glass cylinder vases at Wal-mart or any craft store, fill with water, and add a floating candle!  The floating candles are at Hobby Lobby.

I am in love with these mini wreaths!  These are inexpensive artificial wreaths from Michael’s (about $2 a piece) tied together with two pieces of burlap ribbon.  You can use any ribbon, fabric, or burlap scraps to get the same look.  Hang inside on a guest room door, a bathroom door, laundry room door, or some other unexpected place!

Enjoy this last week before Christmas with your family and friends.  May it be a week full of blessings and peace…
